It’s finally here, we’re excited to announce the launch of yet another exciting new feature on the Riipen platform — the In-Class Project Library!
This highly requested library was designed to accelerate connections within Riipen’s network of educators and organizations. Organizations can now post project scopes directly to this library marketplace which educators can now proactively browse through throughout the year. When educators find a project that meets their needs, they simply click to invite that organization to participate in their in-class assignment, initiating a conversation to establish next steps leading to the beginning of a partnership.
Why is this project library a great opportunity for educators?
New Projects Are Added Every Week: Businesses are constantly changing, and with these changes comes a frequent need for new projects. Organizations can now post these projects as the opportunities arise, providing an up-to-date overview of what collaboration opportunities exist within our network.
No More Waiting for Projects: With this library, you’re able to take a proactive lead on partnering with companies. No more waiting for the right match.
No Assignment, No Problem: If you’re not sure about what kind of assignment you want to run for your students, we encourage you to design your assignment parameters around one of these project scopes (after talking with the organization representative). The projects they post are current, relevant and “riipe” for students to take on!
You Can Be Selective: With hundreds of projects in the library, we are confident you’ll find something that works for one of your classes. However, we understand that a lot of educators have organization preferences as well. You can look for projects from organizations that fit your preferred industries, subject areas, locations and company sizes. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide if you think an organization will be the right fit for your class.
It’s Easy: Check out our short article that explains how you can invite organizations to participate in your assignments by clicking here; if you have any questions, please connect with our team.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates to the platform coming soon and don’t forget to subscribe to our blog to keep up with everything Riipen!
