AIM Colours, a start-up founded by Alejandra Huerta, a former PhD student in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University, is developing a product called ePolish. These flexible electronic artificial nails allow users to change the color of their fingernails with a smartphone wave. Supported by programs like Riipen and Dobson Cup, the start-up plans to pilot the product in early 2023.
“I’m giving myself this opportunity to do something I really enjoy and that I’m really passionate about. And so far everything has been moving forward very quickly. So I’m just staying focused.”
