Innovation and Inspiration take centre stage at 2021 Technology Impact Awards
The 2021 TIAs Gala marked a remarkable comeback, combining an in-person event with a live broadcast to the tech community, garnering record attendance. BC Tech orchestrated the celebration with various partners like Potluck Catering, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and Science World, reflecting the significance of technology in fostering innovation and inspiration. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, 44 TIAs finalists including Riipen, across 11 categories were honored, showcasing the resilience and adaptability of BC's tech sector. The event also announced the introduction of a "Gamechanger - Climate Solutions" award for the 2022 TIAs in collaboration with Vancity, emphasizing the focus on technology-driven solutions to address climate challenges.
