Surge Micro-credentials and Microsoft fill needs gap for working professionals
Surge Micro-credentials offer flexible learning options for professionals like Mohammed Alani, who completed Microsoft Certificate courses online due to his busy schedule as a professor. Partnering with Sask Polytech, these short courses provide industry-endorsed Microsoft certifications in high-demand fields like technology. New for 2022, learners can also take part in work-integrated learning projects through Riipen, gaining real-world experience and industry connections. Alani found the practical content and lab practice valuable, encouraging others to pursue additional training for career advancement.
“We are very thrilled to be adding a work integration component into several of our Surge Microsoft micro-credentials. It provides students with real-world, hands-on experience and connects them to industry,” says Jeremy Eng, lead cloud applications and data instructor at Sask Polytech.
