University College of the North (UCN) has teamed up with Riipen to provide work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities to Manitoba students. As part of the RBC Future Launch program, Riipen's platform connects UCN students with real projects from employers, offering professional feedback and course credits. This collaboration enhances accessibility and supports local and international organizations. Over 90% of students using Riipen report improved employability skills.
"Riipen has enhanced accessibility by creating opportunities for UCN students to apply classroom learning to real projects," said Krystle Paskaruk, Career and Work-Integrated Learning Coordinator. "This allows them to combine work and education while supporting both local and international organizations."
