If eligible, you’ll receive an invitation to join the platform on your cohort’s start date.

Accept your invite, complete a quick verification, and you’re in!

Get selected
An employer sees your potential, invites you for an interview, and, if successful, selects you for the project.

Confirm & commit
Before moving forward, confirm you're still interested—this ensures a perfect match.

Reach out to your employer to finalize the start date and next steps, all within the cohort timeline.

Through hands-on, high-impact projects, employers gain valuable insights and benefit from the skillsets students bring while students develop the expertise that sets them apart. Riipen FuturePath offers a faster, more impactful alternative to traditional internships. In just 60 hours, students complete projects with top employers, gaining hands-on experience and building a standout resume. Unlike traditional internships that often require months of commitment, FuturePath lets students gain valuable skills and make career connections in a fraction of the time.
Here are some helpful guides to get started with Riipen FuturePath for students and for employers.
- Be a current student registered in a Canadian post-secondary education institution
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
- Are legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- You must be in the final 50% of your degree, in your final year, or currently enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent graduate program.
